Friends don't let friends vote without the facts - a message from Campaign Manager Rudy Gonzalves
Dear Friends,
Election Day is just twelve days away and before Californians cast their votes for Attorney General, it’s important we help make sure they have all the facts. Because friends don’t let friends vote without the facts.
And here are some facts that need to be addressed:
-
For the first time in California’s history, we spent more money on prisons than schools.
-
California’s prisons have a 70% recidivism rate, the highest in the nation.
-
Nearly 60% of California’s inmates are functionally illiterate.
Throughout this campaign, Alberto Torrico has been fighting to reform prisons and to make better education a key focus of our crime-fighting policy. Torrico, alone among candidates, understands that a stronger California comes from great schools, not more failed prisons. That is why his campaign has earned the strongest and broadest coalition of public safety, education and community endorsements of any of the AG candidates.
Because of you, our campaign has organized over 80,000 supporters throughout California. But, we need your help to get the facts out before Election Day.
Here's How You Can Help!
Help us spread our message today so that all Californians know what you know: Alberto Torrico is the most qualified candidate for Attorney General.
Phonebank from Your Home
We also need your help to make phone calls to fellow Californians from the comfort of your home. If you can, please get in contact with me by calling 818-201-8455 or sending an e-mail to Rudy@AlbertoTorrico.com.
Thank you for everything you have done for this campaign and everything you will do over these final days.
Sincerely,
Rudy Gonzalves
, Campaign Manager
